Welcome to my wonderful World of Glass

Suzi Brown working on a window

I am Suzi Brown, glass artist in Manawatu, New Zealand.

Providing restoration, design & build services in stained glass, I work in both lead and copperfoil methods. Between windows I design and make hand crafted, unique glass art for giftware and decor.

If you are looking for a locally made gift, you could buy from my existing works or commission a piece.

I stock a groovy selection of new and reclaimed glass, tooling and materials for your own glass art needs. leadlighters and mosaic artists will find treasures here.

"We would like to thank you Suzi for a fantastic job in making our lead light window we designed. You knew exactly what to do without hesitation and brought our plan into fruition which has pride of place in our new living room.
We also had you refurbish our old light shades into a more modern style while still keeping with the old look and they came out fantastic.
If anyone needs a lead light expert to look at a job I’d definitely send them in Suzi’s direction.
Thanks Suzi it’s been a pleasure dealing with you and if something comes up like this again you'll be the first person that comes to mind".
Kind regards Rich and Debs.

Restoration work has me working for clients as far away as Auckland.

Many of my gift lines are well suited to shipping both NZ wide and overseas.

If you are local you could pop in during open studio or visit by appointment.

Sharing my skills and experience has been a rewarding part of the creative process.  But, the demands of my design and restoration work has side lined any teaching. I am working with other artists to get workshops back into the plan.
